I have had an HP450 for several years. It works very well AC or Battery. I have not bee using it nearly as much since I discovered Print to PDF. I use PDF995 and like it quite well. I have tried several of the available programs and they all work good, but I use PDF995 because it produces a smaller PDF file than the others. This would not normally be a problem but I print a large monthly newsletter (12 pages with color) to PDF for posting on our Elks website and I want to keep the file under 2MB. Microsoft Office/Word will also produce a PDF for those that have it.

If I may ask, why do you print bank statements? Do you bank online?

are there any places that I could access my account and print the statement?
You mean access email?

Yes we bank online. Get 4.01% on checking account by doing so. Max of $25,000 balance though. My wife is a big fan of a paper backup for everything. We have boxes and boxes of records. When she decides to get rid of old records I have to have a bon fire as there usually are too many to shred.

My statements are sent in pdf format. Good idea to just save to flash drive then take to library to print. Will probably work at a office supply store also.

Thanks

I carry a small HP 130 I think it is, prints 4 x 6 prints. I "assume" that you can also print mini pages?

Wow! what bank is that??? As for the paper backup, I feel for ya. My gf is a paper freak. Wastes a lot of trees. AFAIC, it's totally unnecessary.

Kodak used to make a very nice small one.. However I don't think it's made any more.

Google for small printers and you may get lucky

I usually print to PDF and keep the file on the computer.. There are alot of "PDF-Printers" out there, I use CutePDF but I have others on board. There are so many, and once installed they nearly all work exactly the same way, that I can not recommend any one.

How do they work?

I choose PRINT just like I was going to send it to the Canon Pixima.
I then choose the PDF-Printer
I then print, normally...
A box will come up "Save as"

I choose the folder (My documents/stuff to print....Usually) and give it a file name (or use the one it suggests) and hit SAVE.. That's all.

Browse Walmart,Staples and Office Depot, a small printer is fairly inexpensive; in view of size being the over-all criteria. We use a small Dell printer, that when I got it was about $80.00. Good luck.

Have you got room in the RV for a typical size "Shoe Box"... .. you know... the cardboard box that a pair of shoes comes in..???

If so.. go to Walmart and look at the printers there.. I just left the local Walmart and was looking at the printers while I was there doing my monthly shopping....

They have one that is about the same size of a shoe box and it was priced at $30.

TWO CENTS WORTH
The story goes that a man died and was approached by the Devil who told him that he could buy his soul back for a dollar. The man searched his pockets and could only come up with 98 cent. While begging the Devil to forget the two cent he was short, an Angel happened by and hearing the Devil laughing, asked the man, "Would you mind if I put in my two cents ?" The Devil got so mad that he exploded in a puff of smoke and the man's soul was saved.
The moral: Sometimes putting in your two cents worth makes a difference.

I have an HP J3680 all in one that's pretty small. It was about $50 on sale last year.
