We are looking to purchase an air ride hitch, could use some advice. We haul a AX6 39' wilderness with a 2002 Dodge Manual 3500. Not sure if an air pin box or a hitch system is best.

Not having had both, I can't give a comparative opinion. We've had our Trailer Saver air hitch for 9 yrs now and it is flawless. Good luck with your efforts to find someone who has or has had both.

It took me 4 hitches to finally get it rignt!!!.....TRAILSAVER.... is the way to go. Why?......22,000lbs. capacity....5,000lbs. pin weight, Holland head....works just like hitches on over the road semi truck, easy to use, positive locking and it realy does "save your trailer" and your back!....Don't leave home without it!

We have an 02 Dodge 5 speed dually as well. On our last 5th wheel
I got a Fifth Airborne air pinbox. It worked great. If I did it
again I think I would try the MorRyde pin box as it does not have
a airbag to give problems. The air ride hitches are nice but very
expensive.

I have a MorRyde pinbox, a trailersaver hitch. I have had NO experience with anything else, but I can tell you I have never experienced chucking, (as I understand it) and the ride up front is smooth to the point that sometimes when I look in the mirrors I'm surprised to see my fiver back there. I do know the DW has never had "stuff" bouncing out of cabinets after a pull, and that used to happen even in our 45' DP. I am very pleased.
