Got the camper all set this week. Now I will have to get my fix here until spring....is it here yet?

Had a great season and can't wait for the next.

I know what you mean, I get my fix through the winter on this forum too. I did go ahead and book our spring opener at Watkins Glen to stay focussed. LOL

I really enjoyed the GTG at villages at turning stone first weekend of May.

If they do it again I hope to go.

I will winterize next month but our HTT is always on stand by for a spontanious weekend outing. Some of our best and most memorable camping weekends have been during the winter. But then we do not live where you do. Hang in there. It is a great time to plan next years outings.

Closed ours up two weeks ago. May do some winter camping but that's iffy at this point. Due to have surgery this winter and it is supposed to curb my activities for about six months.

Does it get cold enough there that you need anti-freeze in everything? I have thought about using mine (just not using the water) later in the season. One problem is that all the area campgrounds are closed for the season.

I am going camping here in eastern Massachusetts Monday-Thursday. Suppose to be in the mid 60's and nice. I still havent winterized (lowest temps so far 34 at night) so I will be good to go, probably last trip of the fall.

We're going camping Nov. 19th!
I don't know anything about winterizing because I've never had to do it. Living way down here in Texas has some advantages.
I know we have to deal with all the hellish summer heat, but this time of year makes it all worthwhile.

We have to be out of the barn at the Fairgrounds by 11 April. I usually take her directly for wheel bearing and caulking at a local dealer. Works well and is early enough in the season in Ohio that they're not jammed with deliveries and maintenance business.

I avoid cabin fever by using January and February to do ground reconnaissance of potential camping locations within half a day's drive. Gets me outdoors.
