Based on the traffic on my company's site, this isn't true. Also, it is much better to have a site down on a Sunday than a Monday if problems come up.

FREE, right?

And apparently, problems did come up. It's now a little after 11:30 EST, and it looks like things are finally up. That's about 7 hours later than the estimated up time.

Seems to me that the folks behind the scenes had a busy night. Maybe things didn't go as smoothly as the had hoped they would?

My thanks to the anonymous back room folks for all of their hard work

Since our society is on a 24/7, six time zone area, in North America, it's always a bad time for some.

Never seems to be a good time, you just have to do, what you have to do, when the programmers and webmasters can get to the job.

Now that things are "back to normal" is there any reason I can'r read or send a PM? I see the red message that I have 1 unread message but when I click "Private Messages" the browser just sits there. - IE6 -
