Need procedure to set up for towing. Thanks Looking for the owners manual - but no luck. Thnaks in advance. Auto: a bit tricky, 4wd in neutral, tranny in neutral w/ motor running, turn off key to unlocked position, move tranny to Park. Dave Life doesn't come with a safety fence around it... enjoy it anyway. I use 5th just in case the transfer case goes into gear, that way it's going down the road in 5th not some lower gear, less damage (?). I have never tried it, don't know if it is true or not. I have seen them on eBay, though, as well as Amazon. Helm, Inc. has always been a great source for auto manuals.
