I can't find any info on this with my search. Is there something special one needs to do to clean their windshield curtains? Mine are filthy and need cleaning something terrible. Can I simply throw them into a large size washer on gentle with Woolite? I can't find any ticket on them with any directions to follow. Is dry cleaning a better bet? Any suggestions? Thanks

Ours came out of the dryer just fine. Wife tossed in everything after I got it home when we bought it.

I would like to put up a rod or something right behind the front seats for a curtain because if the kids are not there I am just to stiff to do the snapping without a lot of pain.

Just treat it gently. The sun will rot or at least deteriorate some material blends. Although more expensive another consideration might be to dry clean.

We put ours in the washer dryer on gentle, they came out clean and undamaged.

We have our dry cleaned about once every year or so.

Our's are only a year old but I was wondering that too. Good post.

DW took ours out of the dryer when they were still damp and hung them outside with the pleats partly closed to finish drying. Don't know if that was necessary or not but they turned out well.

Ours are lined -- If I expect them to survive cleaning and look nice I'd have they dry cleaned because they probably have interfacing at the tops where the pleats are (most drapes are made that way) therefore the lining and interlining may not hold up to normal washing/drying. I'd also have them press them.

Must depend on the material. Ours are also lined and they came out okay.
