If you were buying a new fifth wheel and the choices were NUWA, Jayco, Carriage and Heartland. Which would you buy. The prices are very close at what we looking at.

Hi Tom,
Going from your Fox, I doubt you will be pleased with any of them except maybe the Hitchiker. Personally I would also look at Cedar Creek and Cardinal for a good alternative.

I'd buy the one with the floorplan and colors Dianne likes best!

Have you looked at a Crossroads Cruiser? IMHO, best quality for the money. All metal structure and a 2+5 year guarantee.

Can I ask why you are not considering another Fox?

Depending on the model specifics, the Hitchhiker is a cut above MOST if you've got enough truck to handle the weight.

We've been very happy with our Carriage and would get another in a New York minute. Factors in our decision boiled down to storage (extra basement space in the rear), the 2 year warranty, the floorplan was perfect for us and Carriage was willing to to make a few changes on our Cameo.

I believe Jayco also has a 2 year bumper to bumper warranty, not sure about Nuwa or Heartland.
