Youngest son got us a set of F Dick Premier Plus Knives German made kitchen knifes a couple years back. So my Case XX Early Americans Series set is in the motorhome.

Many talk about a sharpening steel, but a steel doesn't sharpen, it only dresses the blade. Once the steel no longer brings the knife to the point it acts sharp, its time to sharpen. The only way to sharpen is to remove metal with a stone, grit, or diamond.

After four pages, nobody has mentioned the Ginsu knife!!
