My credit union has a couple of diesel trucks on it's repo lot. I looked at them yesterday and are going back today to drive them. let me know what you think about the price and what to look out for.
1999 Dodge 2500 2wd quad cab short bed diesel, 5spd. 221K miles. body and interior are nice and clean. Wet carpet on passenger side floor by door sill. They are asking $7200 for it.
1996 Ford F250 extended cab 4x4, PSD, automatic. XLT model. Truck is clean but does have some rust thru spots around the bed wheel wells. It's has 200K miles and they are asking $6200 for it.

I agree, they want to much. I was thinking of offering $5000 for the Dodge or $3500 for the Ford.

also depends on how long they've been holding the vehicles too. Centra CU usually prices at KBB as a starting point, and moves down from there if they get no interested lookers. Make an offer but don't be disappointed if they don't really "deal" or negotiate with you....... my prior experience.

the dodge looks like it may have been a delivery truck of some kind as there are some scratches on the rear doors where you normally a sign of some sort. Also, there was a 5th wheel rails in the bed but they are gone now. I've been told I need to look and see if the dodge has the 53 block and if it does to look for a coolant leak on the passenger side under the exhaust manifold.
