Has anyone every removed their queen bed and replaced it with a "jack knife" sofa?

My trailer does not have a sofa, just a dinette and queen size bed up front, plus bunks that are actually used for gear storage in the rear. I'm thinking of swapping out the bed for a sofa so that there would be more comfortable seating for one or two on a rainy day. Is there such a thing as a comfortable "jack knife" for sleeping? Usually it's just me and my four legged companion as the DW does not like to camp and only comes along occasionally.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I think most jack=knife style sofas are not really very comfortable when foklded out. You might look at the MagicBed folding sofa - much more comfortable - or there is an airbed style, too. Check to be sure there is nothing under the bed that cannot be moved and that you can get the mattress out the door. Unless you replace wih a made-for-RV sofa, you might have a problem getting a new sofa in, too. Measure carefully!

Everyone should make their RV as comfortable and useful for their tastes, as is possible. If that's the layout you want then it's a great idea.
