Had these last week and had to get the recipe. They're fantastic.
1 16 oz jar lightly salted dry roasted peanuts
3 Tbsp butter or oleo
1 12 oz pkg peanut butter chips
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 bag mini marshmallows
Spray 9X13 pan with PAM and pour 1/2 of peanuts in bottom.
Melt chips and butter together, and pour in milk. Stir in marshmallows until soft but not completely melted.
Pour mixture over peanuts in baking dish.
add the rest of the peanuts on the top and refrigerate.
Cut into bars.
We were thinking of substituting cashews and butterscotch, or milk chocolate. Or making "Chunkies" by adding some raisins and cashews and using chocolate. I think you could make a lot of variations. How about white chocolate and hazelnuts or almonds?!

I was trying to run a quick calorie count and I think I blew up my calculator!!! They do sound wonderful though. Maybe in my next life I can have one.
Both retired. Travel with Nicky the Schnoodle. Son graduated and is teaching high school math. We notice he still prefers to use our checkbook! We still love our 2006 34' Allegro Bay XB and have 25,000+ miles on her.

LOL these are an occasional treat only! Someone made them for a college homecoming/football weekend.

I think you could try anything you think sounds good.
I was thinking it might lower the calories a bit, and not hurt the taste, if I replaced half the peanuts with cheerios.

Leo, this sounds wonderful. I love the sweet and salty combination!
Remember that very popular jello and pretzel recipe back in the late 80's. I use to love that recipe too. Again sweet & salty. But alas, I lost that recipe. Does anyone happen to have it?
