Yes, it was, though I was rooting for the underdog Falcons. Frankly, I don't see who's going to beat the Saints this year.

 I gotta agree about Gruden. People need to be wary of, as I call them "Aints. They have broken so many hearts of Louisiana fans over many years. Second time in their history they have been 7-0. Last time they cratered. Maybe this year they will be different.

Both of those guys on that broadcast got under my skin. I finally turned it down and just watched it. I know the Saints have been bad for a long time but I was for the Falcons myself.

Charlie D is right on as usual. The Saints are for real on both sides of the ball but people forget the Bagheads of old. They were for real also and stayed around a loooong time. They forget when John Mecom the original owner had the Saints as a farm team for his buddy Bud Adams Houston Oilers and the succession of loser/has-been coaches over the years and the consistently bad trades to, you guessed it, Houston.
Gotta agree on the announcers, turn the sound off. Really don't know why they think we have to be entertained constantly but they just seem to invent useless trivia to talk about. Their comments about the TV pics of the folks at the Superdome and Convention Center after Katrina served no purpose. While praising owner Tom Benson they failed to mention that the Saints were playing in San Antonio after Katrina where Benson made most of his money in Bankiing and Auto Dealerships, They would still be there today but NFL Comissioner Paul Taglibue(sp) said "Not no but Hell no".
