I am suprised how many people own a TT before they have an air compressor in the garage. I am just talking about the little 110AC $80 at walmart type.
For me the compressor came way before the TT. I do like to tinker in the garage alot so I needed one long long ago. There are just so many uses for handy compressed air I would not be without one. Besides the most obvious use of maintaining proper tire inflation on my vehicle(s) they also come in handy for:

1) Blowing the leaves and debris up and out from my bathroom vent screen (from the inside with fan on).

2) Winterizing the TT.

3) Blowing the dust out of offroad air filters (and the vacuum cleaner canister filter).

4) Blowing solvent of of freshly cleaned parts.

5) Cleaning around spark plugs before removing so crud doesn't fall down into the cylinder.

For the price my compressor is one of my most valued tools, and the best part: air is FREE!.

What other uses do you people have for your compressors? list them here and let's hear em.

P.S Please use eye protection when using compressed air for cleaning and NEVER point it at your skin!

Grant, You list some good uses. I use the onboard air on the DP to blow the dust and crud off the rear radiator on the MH. 120 plus psi works well.

Keep one in the TT itself along with a 10' 12V extension cord. Can air all TT and TV tires as needed.

I got an air compressor when I got a garage! I'm with you, don't know how anyone could go without one. I have a wide aray of air tools. Nail gun, air ratchet, paint gun, impact wrench, etc. Use for tires, and lots of other stuff. Clean out the vacuum filter and canister.

Run the hose in the house and blow dirt off the refrigerator fins without moving the frig out.
Put the hose in the drier exhaust to blow out the tube to the outside vent.
Inflate the pool on the 4th of July for the kids.
After a dusty trip use the compressed air on the couch, dinette seats and chair in the MH to loosen the dirt before cleaning.
Then there's the woodworking tools and grinding/cutting tools and upholstering stapler.
Never had a little $80 compressor, carry a Campbell 1 HP pancake compressor in the MH for tires and keep the bigger 1 at home with 50 feet of hose.

I have 4 compressors too.

I have a big beast in my garage that I use for a huge variety of things. Need my engine hoist to pick that sucker up! I use it for airing up tires, both vehicle and bicycle, running air tools such as impact wrenches to take wheels off and on, multiple paint guns for those times I feel inclined to paint my car, Running spikers, staple guns and the like if I modify my house.
I use it regularly to blow the dust out of computers. Unreal how much collects in those things.
The best use of it so far is for blasting the air horn I got from a wrecked semi. The neighbors chihuahua likes to come up my driveway and yap its fool head off at me so I give him a blast with the air horn. Ha!

Then I have a 2 horse compressor I keep in the back of my pickup at all times. I try to leave it there because it's a real grunt to pick it up and put it on the tailgate of my dually. Kinda high in the air . . . I use that one to run all my power nailers and various staple guns and so on for my work, such as building a solarium or a sundeck. And when I'm done cutting wood and I'm wearing a gallon of sawdust, I blow myself off head to toe with it. Great for cleaning dust off clothes, out of my shoes, from under my shirt etc. I used to blow the dust out of my hair but now its my scalp because all my hair fell out and whats left of it gets a #2 buzz

Then I have a little pint sized thing I can carry with one finger. It runs my small finish nailers and it's good for light dusting. If I have a small construction job where I need to bang a few nails in I use it for that too. 4 whacks with my spiker and it's gasping to refill! Not much volume there.

Then last but not least, I carry one of those tiny little 12V compressors with the cig lighter plug. That one is for roadside emergencies for when my 2 horse big 'un is out of air.

Blow the dust out of your computer keyboard. Blow junk out from under the kitchen slide.

Add sandblasting, autumn blowout of home lawn sprinkler heads with the big shop unit. Drywall/plaster texture, nailers with the medium unit. The 110v pancake and 12v itty bitty ride with us on campouts.
