Ohio State throttled a very poor New Mexico State team 45-0. Minnesota stunned Michigan State. Mighty Michigan lost to lowly Illinois and it looks like Michigan will finish 6-6 this year, which is a big improvement over last year. Iowa finally woke up and soundly beat Indiana. Cincinnati is still looking good with 2nd. string QB Zach Collaros with a solid win over Syracuse. However, for me the most impressive win yesterday, was when the Oregon "Ducks" trounced USC 47-20 at home! I have no conection at all to Oregon, but there is no doubt in my mind that they were the best college football team in the country yesterday! Yep, I'm saying that yesterday they could have beaten either Florida, Alabama, or Texas! Oregon was ranked 10th. last week, but they should move up to 5th. or 6th. this week. Poor coach Pete Carroll looked totally bewildered as he watched the Oregon offense dismantle the USC defence. I was so busy yesterday taping two games, while watching another and repeating this process every 3 1/2 hours. What are your comments about the games you watched? Bagman.

Okla beat Kansas State, but it wasn't pretty. 28 to 9 at halftime and then Kansas State ran up and down the field in the 3rd quarter. Luckily the Sooners responded and won the game. Made me nervous. Of course I hope for all the ranked teams to lose a game so maybe we can get back in the rankings and play a decent bowl game.

Bagman, out camping so selection of games is few but I did get to see Auburn vs. Ole Miss. Ole Miss had such high hopes and looked like a very good team at the beginning of the season.

Loved the loss by USC. Looking for the LSU vs. Alabama next week. LSU win over Tulane was to be expected. Ducks look like a very good team in all phases of the game but better than Alabama and Florida? You looking to get the SEC fans stirred up?

I do not usually agree with Bags, but his analysis of yesterdays contest is quite valid. He did not say that they were always better than Florida, Alabama or Texas, he said that YESTERDAY they could have beaten anybody.

Yesterday, the Ducks, dismantled a machine, piece by piece. Starting with the USC loss to the Huskies and subsequent games I knew the machine wasn't quite right, little did I realize it was a train wreck waiting to be derailed. I am a long time Trojan fan, I can recall some bad losses, but a thrashing like this...LORDY!

Loved that USC lost!! I wish Ohio State had played them better as I thought they could have been beaten when OSU played them. I was glad to see Michigan lose as well.

Auburn looked very good against Ole Miss, but Texas looked great against Ok St.
I really wanted So Car to beat Tenn, but they were never in the game. Bama was idle, and they really needed the break. Eight straight weeks had taken its toll on the team. They will be ready for the showdown next Sat with LSU. ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!
