You don't want to haul gas in an in bed tank...way to many legal issues.When I ran semi dump trucks,we had half diesel,half hydralic fluid in a tank that we just had welded up.

Be easier to add a fuel station to the trailer.

Out west there can sometimes be long distances between services so you want to plan ahead. Be thinking about your next fuel stop at your current one. you'll know how many miles per tank pretty quickly.

I usually print out the Flying J price list as it give locations. My big trip every year I have gone so many times I know where there are long stretches with no services.
