We're picking up our "new to us" Newmar in the next few days and I've already determined she's a girl. Now I want to name her and put her name on the back somewhere and got to wondering if anyone else has named their rigs?

I thought of calling her the Lacymobile....but was afraid folks would think she was a rolling brothel! ha!

She's been a member of our family just a short time...since 10/31/09

We have not named our motorhome. No particular reason, but we just don't call it by a name other than "Home". I like seeing RV's drive down the highways with names on them someplace. Then we always wonder, "why they'd name it that?"

Oh, what fun reading this is going to be!!! I love going down the interstate and and seeing the names on boats and rv's. Mine will definitely have a name, but not sure what it'll be yet.

We call our class C, "Baby Hewie" as H E W are the letters on the plate. We have friends with a class A and their plate is a few numbers before ours but with the same letters so theirs is 'Big Hewie" and thus the name for ours.....As for the gender name it never occurred to us to call....it....anything else. I always pat the dash several times when we get home and thank Baby Hewie for getting us home again safe and sound.

The name depends on the day and how she is treating me.

No but I named the new toad the TARDIS. Its a Cooper Clubman that seems larger on the inside than it is one the outside.
