Another thumbs up for Jayco. As stated here before, we literally walked in hundreds of rigs at dealers, rv shows, private sellers looking at multitudes of different floor plans, manufacturers etc. and we were most comfortable with parting with a lot of money for our 345BHS.

Our warranty is up April 2010 so I just dropped it off at the dealer with a 10 item list of very basic stuff, mostly issues related to interior finish systems. Also, Jaycos factory rep Sherlin Miller is always at shows ready to talk, discuss and spend time with us even after we've already bought. No rush, no BS, no lies. That is something I never experienced with other factory reps at shows.

My salesmen sold boats before he sold RV's. A salesmen is a salesmen and will say anything to make the sale! He tried to sell us a 38' Designer and told us that our Dodge Ram 2500 could handle it without a problem. I knew better and called him on it so he changed his story to make it sound like it was his idea to look for a smaller unit on their lot.
We bought an Eagle instead and love it without having any issues except maybe we should have bought the bigger truck before buying the RV. You can never have enough truck in my opinion!

Hi all,

I am new here and we are looking at getting the 2010 Jayco Eagle next year as we want to start full timing. I was wondering if anyone can tell me how well this unit tows. We are looking at getting the 3500 truck to pull it. Thanks in advance for any info.

We have a 2009 Jayco Eagle Superlite 285RLS purchased brand new in April. While we had several problems with it (minor for the most part), it was our dealer that was the problem. We had to wait until October to get it into them to get repaired. While it was a pain in the neck to have to wait, it did not stop us from camping. I spent two years looking at fifth wheels and went back to the very first one I saw and liked. I would buy another one in a heart beat. Only thing that I don't care for is the automatic awning, however it has come in handy several times to be able to push the button and bring it in our out.

We have a 2003 31RLS Designer that we bought new. Very happy with the unit. This is our 2nd Jayco. First was a 20' TT that we had for 15 years and sold it to our friends. Jayco is at the top for quality and cost. If you want to spend 10-15,000 more you can get fancier but I don't think quality will go equally. Our neighbors bought a used 2004 37' Legacy last fall and they are very happy with it. Dealer and condition has a lot to do with it. Good luck

We are on our second Jayco. This time a fiver and we are very happy with it. For the past several years most of our camping friends and family have graduated from tenting and pop-ups into RVs and we all bought Jaycos and we all love them. Except my brother. He bought a different brand and every time he comes into mine he tells me he wishes he would have bought a Jayco fiver. We could probably start our own Jayco club at this point for as many Jaycos as we have in our group. (five and counting) We just took ours in for service on three problems we had from the Jayco we bought in May. The slide seemed a little unlevel, one of the cabinets did not stay shut during transit, and our outside speakers quit working. All three things were fixed lickety-split. On our previous Jayco, we had bought it used. We had no problems with that one for the three years we had it.

Take care,

They have a good reputation our area. We were looking at the upper end units when we were shopping. Our dealer had been in the area for many years and unfortunately they went under with so many others over the last year. No other dealers close by.

Jayco is easly one of many good units out there.

I never met a salesmen that didn't say his was the best.

We have a 2009 Designer 34rlqs. We have had it over a year. Have been happy with the unit except for the plumbing fixtures. The hose end of the shower broke...the dealer put in a better hose and connector. This past week while out we noticed water under the sink area. I checked all connections and they appear tight. Also we had water in the cabinet under the wash basin.

The trailer is still under warrenty and will be going back to the dealer next week. Other than the plumbing, the unit has been great.
