I'm wondering if anyone is part of or has any information about the University of Alabama Crimson Tide Rolling RV Armada. I read an article about them just recently but, after having conducted an internet search, have been unable to unearth any additional information.
If anyone has any information on this group I'd love to hear it.

It is an informal group of friends that travel to the games together and "tailgate" before and after the games. I would love to join in myself, but my work restricts my traveling to the far away games. We've been to a couple of home games and seen their "camp" set up. Looks like a party.

I hate to tell you this, but as a Florida Gator fan, your rolling tide will be coming to a sad end at the SEC championship game in Atlanta and then we go off to the BCS championship game. GO GATORS.

We will see about that this Saturday. The Tigers may be getting a return match at that SEC championship.

Just a quick question from a guy from Utah, what's a Crimson Tide?
It's a nickname for a small trade school in Tuscaloosa, AL. I think they got the nickname from all the blood in their locker room after a football game with Ga Tech!!

All of this talk about the Tide and SEC teams reminds me of a cute story:
I was watching an Alabama home game on TV a few weeks ago(don't remember who they were playing but I like watchng the SEC games) and after Alabama would move the ball for a first down, you could hear the stadium announcer in the background of the brodcast with his, "First down, Alabama!" and the crowd would respond with, "Roll Tide!!"...
Well, my 3 girls were playing in the same room I was watching the game and my oldest asks, "What are they shouting, Dad?"
When I explained the school's team name was the Crimson Tide and they were shouting, "Roll Tide!" as a way to cheer on their team in the same way other fans may shout, "Go team!", the next time the stadium announcer could be heard saying, "First down, Alabama!" - it was met with all three of my girls yelling, "ROLL TIDE!!".
This Dad almost fell out of his chair - we live in Penn State Country and my oldest (10 years) had already proudly proclaimed this summer that she will be attending Penn State when she graduates..... oy!
They still run around the house yelling, "ALABAMA! ROLL TIDE!!" Mom rolls her eyes when they do this. 
I've created monsters....

I watched the game and I think LSU got robbed on that bad call on the sideline interception. I think had this stood, the Tigers might have won the game. The replay to me showed clearly his foot was inbounds and he had possesion. Looks like the Crimson Tide (dark pink)and the Gators have a date in Altanta. GO GATORS,
