What can any one tell me about workampers doing the Gas Line surveyor job. What does it consist of, where located at, is it a couples job, etc.? Any remarks toward this subject would be appreciated.

I personally don't know much about it, but if you do a search.... I recall many posts about it over the last few years.

We looked into working for Southern Cross last year beofre we went to work in Alaska. We wanted to work in CA. and at the time they had positions available, but they money was not good enough to work in and live in CA. so we passed. Went to work in AK last summer, made enough we dont have to work this winter so we can be in CA. with grandbabies.
Southern Cross is hiring currently, but if you really want a job once you fill out an application, make sure they have it, wait a week or so and start calling. We found you needed to be proactive to get them to call you back.
Good luck!
