The Yankees will win because they bought the championship with all their money. The poor taxpayers of NY paid for their overpriced stadium with overpriced seats bringing in thousands of $$$ to pay for these stars. The money they paid for the 3 new all stars exceeds the yearly budget for the entire Twins team.
If they lose, the Evil Empire will be very embarassed.

I agree. I would have included the refs.
You mean like when Swished tagged up and scored and the refs called him out when in fact he was not. Cost the Yankees a run. Bad calls went both ways in this series

The taxes, parking and tourism the stadium draws will soon pay for the ball park.I think the Yanks will allow the series to go 6 games to allow the vendors to sell a few million more beerski's and dogs then slaughter the "other" team.
Nobody can come close to beating the Yankees this year.
The Babe will be proud.

What I was referring to, was when the Yanks were batting the strike zone was really small. IMO

I really wanted to see Joe Torre facing the Yankees in the Series. I am thinking Yankees could take this in 5

I did too!!! But, this should be a good series. Can't predict how many games it will take for the Yankees to win it all

Will they play tonight? Or will it rain out?

Doesn't look good. Upstate we're expecting one inch of rain.
Just saw the schedule & all the games are at night. Too bad because we can expect to see players in ear warmers again. It was amusing to see Robinson Cano in a hoodie while batting in NY. I guess the TV Network dictates the times. It was nice to see Series played in sunshine, but no more. Hope the weather stays warm so the pitchers can grip the ball properly. This is football weather in the great Northeast!!!
