I really wanted to see Joe Torre facing the Yankees in the Series. I am thinking Yankees could take this in 5

Both retired. Travel with Nicky the Schnoodle. Son graduated and is teaching high school math. We notice he still prefers to use our checkbook! We still love our 2006 34' Allegro Bay XB and have 25,000+ miles on her.

I think this is going to be one great series, two very tough teams that never give up.
Finally after missing most of the post season from '04 thru '08, five years is a long drought, I know, lots of teams go decades so you can just call this old Yankee fan "spoiled"
It will be a fun series

The Yankees will win because they bought the championship with all their money. The poor taxpayers of NY paid for their overpriced stadium with overpriced seats bringing in thousands of $$$ to pay for these stars. The money they paid for the 3 new all stars exceeds the yearly budget for the entire Twins team.
If they lose, the Evil Empire will be very embarassed.

wah wah wah

If that was the case the Yankees should have won every series for the last 30 years.

Money may buy players but it does not buy a team. The Yankees have a team this year

Go Yanks! They win it all in 5. Like jcapps says, wha wha wha to all of the Redsox fans out there. 27 time World Series Champions sure does have a nice ring to it. Girardi will have to change the number on his uniform to number 28.

If it was all money the Yankees would play the Mets (or Cubs, LOL) every year.

Of course money from a big market helps win occasionally, just ask the Cubs fans.
