Although the "Bagman" and Jimmy "The Greek" Snyder (Synodinos) were both born in Steubenville, Ohio, I'm going to stop trying to pick out who will win on any given Saturday. However, I do hope that coach Tressel and soph. QB Terrelle Pryor, both get their acts together and beat Minnesota today! The "Buckeyes" were a diaster last week when they played Purdue. I heard a rumor up here that 5 star recruit, Devin Gardner from Inkster H.S., who had originally verbally commited to Michigan, has changed his mind and is heading to Florida. We'll see if that rumor comes true. Bagman.

My focus will be on two games. First, Alabama plays Tenn in Tuscaloosa. This game starts at 2:30. We are meeting our best friends at the Olive Garden at noon for lunch. Afterwards we will go to their house for the game. Auburn plays LSU tonight. We will watch this one also, since our friends are Auburn fans. We hope that both our state universities win. Then where did that 'War Eagle' deal come from that Auburn fans meet each other with? A Tiger, ain't no 'War Eagle' -Just don't make sense.

I have no idea where it came from, but I've been hearing it as long as I can remember & I'm 75. Auburn better get their stuff together if they are going to win today. I sure hope the can.

Bama snuck by UT. Hope Florida can sneek by. Half ended ugly.

Tim Tebow beat Herschel Walkers rushig touchdown record. Pretty amazing for a quarterback.

Wish he was a better passer. He can throw but his throwing decision-making ain't so hot.

Bama did not sneak by UT, since UT was never in the lead; they held UT.

The Auburn "War Eagle" is like the Alabama "Crimson Tide". Both are fictitious "mascot names" invented by who know who (there are many different tales about each". Auburn's official mascot is "Tigers" and Alabama's official mascot is "Elephants".
