We had a TTR 125 in our group that was going through tubes a lot. The problem ended up being the weld inside the rim in the spoke area had several spots that were razor sharp and the rubber protector was not really protecting the tube. You might want to check this out.

We ended up duct taping a couple of layers all the way the inside of the rim, problem solved.
