As long as the conditions are not too bad, put on the rain gear and go outside - the area attractions should be less crowded.

I agree with the above post...don't let a little rain stop you from getting out and seeing the sights. Anyone who ONLY RV's in fair weather doesn't use their RV much!

I agree that going out and seeing the sites is a good one. We once took our kids to Disneyland and it rained all weekend. We put on rain ponchos and went anyway. It was one of the best trips we ever took. The lines were super short, LOL, and we had a blast!

The other thing we like to do is (if there is one nearby) go TO the movies. The matinee prices are cheaper. We get a large soda and popcorn and enjoy the show!

We went into libraries and I asked if they had books for sale. If they were in bad condition I burned them in the campfire when I was done, if good I put them in the rest rooms with a note that they needed a new home.
I found the game Who Wants to be a Millionaire, bought it for a dollar and threw away everything but the questions. It makes a good game that you can play for several weeks with made up rules. It did involve lots of rubber bands to keep things sorted out. We ignored the part about calling someone for help.

Bake a batch of cookies, make a pie, or something similar. Not only will you spend some time together, doing something different, but your RV will smell WONDERFUL!!

Having lived 50+ years in the Pacific Wet Coast area, we don't know anything BUT rain, and do all our usual activities when it's raining. We wash vehicles (free water); geocache; sightsee; window shop on old style streets; take thousands of photographs; enjoy the reflections of lights and water at night; walks; fishing; gold panning; rock hounding; slabbing rocks on the diamond saw (less dust in the rain)and then also partake of the usual indoor entertainment... printing oodles of photos after editing; planning our next 500 miles; bulk cooking for the coming week; playing with the parrots; read; writing letters for snail mail (!!); updating our blog; snuggling, etc. Not necessarily in that order, either.

We don't have enough TIME, regardless of the weather!
