I've been receiving the Kraft Food & Family quarterly magazine free for the last couple of years. It's chock full of recipes and great serving ideas. They no longer offer it for free but if you subscribe ($13.95 a year) you get a bonus cookbook. Check it out here. Kraft Food & Family

You can also read the magazine on line (same link as above).

Here's one of the tasty looking casseroles in the fall magazine i just received.

Tex-Mex Beef & Potatoes

Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef
1 red pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 pkg. (1-1/4 oz.) TACO BELL® HOME ORIGINALS® Taco Seasoning

Mix 1/2 cup water 4 cups frozen Southern-style hash browns (cubed not shredded variety)
1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen corn 1/2 lb. (8 oz.)
VELVEETA Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product, cut into 1/2-inch cubes

HEAT oven to 350°F.

BROWN meat with peppers and onions in large skillet; drain. Return to skillet.

STIR in taco mix and water. Add potatoes, corn and VELVEETA; mix well. Spoon into 13x9-inch baking dish; cover.

BAKE 20 min.; stir. Bake, uncovered, 15 min. or until heated through.

Kitchen tips
Use Your StoveBrown meat with peppers and onions in large skillet; drain and return to skillet. Stir in taco mix, water, potatoes and corn; cover. Cook 5 to 7 min. or until potatoes are tender. Stir in VELVEETA; cook, uncovered, until VELVEETA is melted and mixture is well blended, stirring occasionally.

I, too, have been receiving this Kraft magazine for some time, and LOVE it. And I just today got my notice that it is no longer free, but I am going to subscribe to it. Actually, the info I received showed 13.95 as the regular price, but 6.99 if you were a preferred subscriber. I guess that means those who have been receiving the magazine.

I have gotten a lot of really good recipes from it and would recommend it for sure.

I still got mine sent to me free.

They just aren't allowing anyone else to sign up and get it for free anymore. There has always been a price printed on the front of the magazine. I would bet that you might find this magazine on a grocery store magazine rack for sale.

Those of us who do get this magazine will probably be asked some time in the future if we want to continue getting the "Kraft Food & Family" magzine, we'll have to pay for it.

And if I am asked to pay for it, I will. It is one of the best ones I get. I used to get the Taste of Home magazines too. Loved them as well, but they seemed to stack up, LOL. I tried the new one by Sandra Lee (Semi-Homemade gal) but I don't care for it, so I won't be re-upping on that one. The Kraft mag is a keeper!!!!

Same here - will we be getting notified that we need to start paying for it? I've been getting it for about 5 years now.

I have been a subscriber for about 5 years and just received a notice last week that the fall issue was my last free one. I was also offered the option of subscribing to it for a year at $6.99. I haven't decided yet whether or not I will subscribe.

I just got my latest "Kraft Food & Family" magazine. My free ride is over. If I want to continue to get this magazine, I gotta pay for it

One year is $13.98, but they are extending a "preferred subscriber discount" of $6.99 and I can lock that in for 2 years and pay $12.98. I will renew for 2 years.

This is a great magazine and has lots of great recipes. They also have great coupons! Plus with my subscription I get a FREE copy of Krafts Best-Loved Recipes Cookbook.

You can subscribe too if you'd like and get the free cookbook
Kraft Food & Family magazine

This also a great web site, you can find all sorts of recipes here.
