Mike

We just walked past your place to say hi as the chaplain told us where you were...it didn't look like anyone was home so we thought you were either working or sleeping...we are over at the playground...going to Express for our pee test etc tomorrow...

Stop by Monday or Tuesday ----- we are off Monday & Tuesday. What time do you go for your pee test? We should be up by NOON --- on Monday & Tuesday & Wednesday ------ we work from 5pm to 3:30am so our sleep hours are weird to say the least.

What site are you in? Is there a number in that section?

Hey guys..not sure if anyone is like Bill and I and feel really, really weird about not recycling but here is a suggestion for at least your aluminum cans. I am an animal activist also, I really love those furkids..anyway, I was reading about how Coffeyville lost their animal shelter to the floods so I had a brainstorm and emailed the shelter asking if they had any locations for aluminum can drop off like we have in northern WI. Their reply is below. I am hoping to ask Mark if information can be posted in the weekly newsletter too. I know it's not much but it sure doesn't pay for us to save our cans with the space etc as you all know. I just thought that maybe this would be a small way to give back to the community...if anyone has cans and would like pick up we can do that too as we have the Avalanche...lmk...

Hi Lisa,

I am sorry it has taken so long for my reply. I hadn't really thought about saving aluminum cans for our organization but your email started me to thinking. I took your idea to our board of directors meeting last thursday and pitched the idea to them. In your honor and wonderful suggestions we now have a program called "Cans for Critters". We are going to try to set up a few collections sites in the near future. In the mean time if you still have cans you can drop them off at Jan-L's Flowers and Gifts, 809 Elm St. It is a block south of the post office downtown and 2 blocks north of McDonalds.
Thanks again for your great suggestion.
