I am a Camp Host for the USFS in Idaho. I just found out that there is an immediate opening for a host in my same region at a USFS lakeside campground near Cascade. Full hook-ups, free propane, and a stipend is paid. More details available by calling the Volunteer Coordinator at 208-382-7400.

Successful retirement is not
remembering which day it is.

TXRVr:

I like your sig: I have to look at my computer to see what day it is, and even the time. When I hear the commuter traffic reports on the radio I just laugh.

I'm Camp Host at a county park near San Jose CA and I'm trying to think ahead to another Hosting job in about a year. Is there any sort of clearing house, bulletin board, RV.Net blogsite, etc., for learning about this stuff?

Sorry to take so long to reply guys. I've been busy getting ready for the campground zoo called July 4th weekend.

Hey Bob, I hope all is well. It's French Creek. The first time host showed up and decided he couldn't get his 37 ft 5W rig into the 40 ft site.

Fezziwig> volunteer.gov is good place to find work camp openings for federal properties. Since it's late in the season, there won't be as much info as there will be starting in Jan/Feb of 2010.

Well....I have a hard time remembering what day it is, but I don't think it has anything to do with retirement. Wonder if I can convince my DW that I can't remember her birthday because I'm retired? Agree that it's a good sig. I have an easier time remembering what day it isn't. That's the day they used to direct deposit my paycheck.
