Apparently this park does not take reservations. Anyone know what the chances of getting a site site in mid week in July if we show up early? Any good alternatives with at least electric close by? Appreciate any help on this.

We were just their the week before Memorial Day weekend and if you get their before 2:00pm I think that you will have a good chance to get a spot. They just upgraded the park with full hookups and 50 amp service.
If it is full don't go to the USFS campground 1.5 miles up the road it has several people camped their that you would not fell safe camping next too. it is free camping with no water.
If you have time go over to the logging Museum it's great and it's a easy walk from the campground or you can drive to it.

Mid week, early in the afternoon should not be a problem. They don't take reservations there because it really is not a "destination" park. Enjoy the stay, we have the two times we used it as an overnighter.

Have never had a problem finding a spot. Usually have many sites from which to choose.

We didn't camp there but we went to the logging museum last week. It was really NEAT!
