We also have a gentleman who resides here most the year pressure washes and hand waxes RV's for people. He does quite well and it's not a business per say, but nothing more than a personal agreement between "Friends" so you see there are legal workarounds as long as I stated above to don't try and start a commercial business.
One thing different in our park from many others is they encourage the washing of your RV. They want the long term people to look nice. makes the park look better so they absolutely do not object to this gentleman offering he "personal services" to wash RV's much like the lady with her Tamales and the lady with the pot luck. It actually ads to the nice friendly atmosphere here.
By the way selling Tamales in these parts is part of a local heritage and in my entire career here I've never heard of one single person being cited, arrested or otherwise for offering up their Tamales or holding pot lucks.: I think the big key here is these folks are long term stays and get to know the other folks which helps. If you just came in for a weekend and tried to peddle your cooking without asking you may find some resistance. We have a lot of road workers here right nowe working on highway projects locally and they keep the poor Tamale lady hopping, but I bet it pays her rent and then some and I say more power to her!!
