eyeteeth - Is your regulator mechanical or electronic?

I think I have a slightly used mechanical regulator, purchased new in 1995, around somewhere, if it'd help. (It's been mostly unused since I bought it.)

Griff, Mine is electric., but thanks. And NAPA is getting to the point of treating me like a regular. I was able to pick up a new one this afternoon for probably not much more than shipping would have been.

Installed it, and fired her up... My gauge went straight to charge. Which it hasn't ever done before. So... I'm thinking it's happy again.

Hey all, been a little busy with clean up and a few of the Honey-do things. But here is a link to my first race with the RV, as promised.

I don't think anyones dying statement ever contained the words "I wish I had spent more time in the office", so lets go somewhere!

Hello again. Data, Data ,Data...... getting it has been driving me crazy. Finally went to the City Library and found additional wiring diagrams, although none match the vehicle completely. But did find 4 pages of auxillary wiring diagrams. The auxillary diagrams also include wiring the tow trailer. My 77 Dodge 360 Brougham has an auxilliary for the running lights. If anyone is having electrical problems the Chrysler and Mithell reference books take you thru the electrical in a analytical manner. Seems pretty straight forward. Haven't used it yet but have a feeling I will in the very near future.
If you decide the visit the library I would also recommed taking a digital camera to take pictures because copies are expensive and reference books can't leave library. Its nice when Im at Napa had can show the part straight from the book.
Is there a site where this group has been posting problems/solutions?
Had an interesting light problem today. The Left turn signal light on the dash would come on when lights were on.Problem ended up being a bad bulb connection on the left side marker. It was insane pulling the steering wheel to change the gear shift light, but was able to repair the Hazard/Turn signal switch with ACE Hardware help for $2.40. Sure beat $80 switch replacement charge. Opps, don't mean to ramble but this RV is consuming wayyyyy tooo much of my mind right now.

Yep, here.

Electrical gremlins are 90% of the trouble on these rigs. First, the grounds were never robust. Second, the wires used were a bit smaller than necessary. Third, these tend to live outside, with the wiring exposed to the elements (and animals).

I may be taking the MH to some HS Football playoff games within the next few weeks. I was wondering how everyones Dodge does in the snow in the event we get some. Mine has the dual wheels in the back.

Yep, public libraries have all sorts of good, reliable reference material.
Ever notice there's not a Haymes manual in the whole lot? For a reason.

Oh, you'll get used to the brain drain. We have. ;0)
