RE: RV fires? Anyone have one?
Almost lost my previous camper to fire due to the microwave catching on fire. I had not been notified of the recall on the microwaves (turning on by themselves). Luckily, I had just come home from church and heard the smoke alarm going off in the camper. I opened the door to find the microwave melting. The DW would always store the paper plates in the microwave when not camping. Because the fire wasn't getting much oxygen, it was just smoldering in the microwave. I pulled the smoke out of the camper with a standup fan. I opened the microwave and removed the paper plates and roll of paper towels. The smoldering fire flamed up at this point and I had to get rid of it in the driveway(wish I had gotten a picture of DW and myself stomping out the fire in the driveway). Anyway, the company covered the new microwave, cabinetry and fire restoration.

I never use my slider if on level ground. I have a nice dent in the cab from backing the camper up an elevation. The distance between the cab and camper will decrease if the camper starts up a hill first. I only have about 4 inches of clearance during an extreme turn on level ground.

RE: Any problems with a Fumoto valve?
Highly recommend it. Like others have said, it is a slow drainer but makes for a mess free job. Love It!!!!!!

I can't tell a difference in having it on or off. I also have a pro-net 5th wheel tailgate that I keep on most of the time, no difference with it either.

I wet down with hose and then spray both sides with tilex. Rollup for 20-30 minutes and then unroll and all the dirt will wash away with hose.

I have been knocked to my knees several times by the kingpin. I bought a stabilizer and thought that this would fix it and it does but one day I fell backwards over one of the legs. Wife didn't find out about that one. She would still be laughing.

I usually run around 62-65 mph and it is unbelievable how many RVs blow my doors off going down the road. I don't understand why people are in such a hurry. My wife calls me paw paw due to my driving.

Your dog will love it. We always take our two with us when we go. My Lab will hurt you trying to get out to the camper when we are loading it up for a trip.
