Ron, Thanks for validating what I was hoping to hear. -Tom

Kodiak Brake Squeal

The front brakes on my relatively new Kodiak RV (Jayco Greyhawk 33DS) that has 3600 miles on it squeals on occasion. Do I need to be concerned or is this normal depending on braking pressure, temp, speed, etc? -Tom

RE: Front End Clunking Sound Seneca 35GS

Yep, mine does the same thing at low speeds over bumps and while turning also. I wish there was a way to fix this, but if that's normal, then it's good to know.

RE: Need your advice - 2008 Four Winds 34G

Bakersontheroad, I went to take a look at a Chateau 32B, but by the time I showed up, it was sold. That being said, I took a look at the inside/outside, and liked it very much. It had full-body paint and looked gorgeous. dmatt & mmills023, Thanks for the additional information and making me more comfortable in moving ahead. -Tom

Need your advice - 2008 Four Winds 34G

I might be interested in purchasing a 2008 Four Winds 34G, but before I do, I wanted any advice on the following: 1. How is the quality on Four Winds on the Kodiak chassis (diesel)? 2. MSRP is $128K, sales price is $89K....is this a good deal? 3. How is the customer service? Thank you in advance! -Tom

RE: Not approved for towing, But......

I've been doing the travel trailer bit, but I'm considering moving to a Class C. I would like to make the change, and it will be a lot easier if I can use my Porsche Boxster (5 speed) as a dinghy. The Porsche user manual says that it must be on a flatbed. Is this a category 2? I think you might be in the Category 4 class. I could not find a listing for Porsche on Remco's site at all. It looks like towing equipment is not even made for it which means trailer only as the owners manual stated. Anyone want to trade a Boxster for a Honda CRV? ;)

RE: Recomend Tiffin Dealer?

I forgot to note that the $25K off was at Mike Thompson RV....their own dealership.

RE: Recomend Tiffin Dealer?

I was just at Mike Thompson RV today looking at Tiffins. The sales guy said that the most I could get off on a 2009 model is around $3,000 since they build them in such low volume. I then come home and see it listed on rvtraderonline for $25K less that sticker.
