brushing teeth

I have a hard time brushng my dogs teeth. She just moves her head and I cannot get to her teeth. After a struggle I manage to get a little brush in. But the question is how do I brush inside of her teeth. I was also told even if I just get a little brushing that it is big help. Is it also true if the toothpaste gets in her mouth it is of some help with the tartar?

RE: Can a 1/2 Ton Truck Pull a Fifth Wheel?

we hav a ford 150. We also pull a 29 ft. Keystone Laredo. We have pulled it to florida 2 times snd will do it again come december. we take it is easy and hubby watches rpm. There are times we pass semi trucks with no problem. The Laredo is on the liteweight side. So the answer is yes, if you watch the size and weight of the 5th wheel.

We are campers and she is a great campe she loves to go for walks, new smell are great. But she is very laid back. Maybe I am just being a worried doh owner, When we get to Florida she has a vet appointment so until then I will cut her food down very slow.

reduced fat in dog food

Hi all!
I have Llasha Apso who is 6 years old. She seems to be putting weight on. We feed her 1 cup per day and 3 milk bones a day but no people food. She eats lamb and rice because she is allergic to beef and chicken. Purina one does not make a reduced fat for her. The question is after all this, is there a dog food that is low in fat and that she can eat. I am retired so the cost of her food I need to take in consideration. Before I hear about if yu love your dog you will not worry abou cost she is the love of my life but money only goes so far. So I am asking for your understanding and your help.
Thanks in advance for you understanding and your help.

RE: Pray for my Buttons, Please

thank you so much for your help with the signs of CHF. She has allergies and it has been rather humid here with alot of rain and not much sunlight. I talked to my vet and he didnot seem to concern, he says just to keep her cool and not to let her be real active. She is a very laid back dog like your buttons. I am glad to hear that Buttons is doing much better. These little dogs have a way of worming into our heats deep. Mine is the light of my eyes after my grandchildren. Best of luck. Thanks Judy

RE: Pray for my Buttons, Please

Hi,

I even took her to the groomers and had her hair cut shorter then normal thinking she might of ben to warm. Vet didnot seem to concered about her panting, He says some dogs pant more then others. I still worry.

licking her chops

Hi all,
I need some help how do you teah your dog she is 6. To stop licking her chops. She does this all the time. I was told it could be because of stress. she is lying beside me now and she is doing it. even in the middle of the nite. Could it be just a habit. If it is how do I teach her to stop it. I have told her alot to quite doing it, I have even held her mouth for a few seconds to let her know what I was saying. Thank you in advance. I can count on this forum for help. Thanks again.

health insurance

You think that you have your life all planned out. We thought that we did, well here comes my husbands plant going out of business. Luck he turned 65 shortly after the closing, but that left me at 62 with no health insurance. My question is this? If you have not reached 65 yet for medicare, what health insurance do you carry/ I have been getting quotes and I am leaning towards United Health.
Is this a good choice or is there something better out there. Please help me, Thank you so much,
Judy Reed
