RE: Carb problems!

Well,tried everything and now in the process of ordering a replacement.So is it a rebuild or a new Edelbrock?
I personally would prefer NEW but welcome experianced comments.

Wiring Diagram

I have been away for the weekend and required a jump start with the Tioga.Its started ok prior to trip and i have the house battery fed by solar power which with our weather takes no time at all.I tried the emergency start but to no avail and wondered if anyone has a layout of the battery/wiring system.
Why are the two batteries not linked and so in turn both charging from the solar.
Simple question from a typico first timer so be gentle with replies...

Carb problems!

Having replaced plugs and leads also checkin correct sequence i still have a engine too keen on missfiring.I was informed by a "mechanic" that it "could" need a new carb as one side aint doing its job.
So as a matter of elimination ive gone to basics as above but need advice on the next stage if possible guys.
Dodge Tioga 3.6 1979.

distributor sequence

I have a dodge tioga 1979,possibly a 3.6.I have the firing order but need to check back to the distributor.Could anyone advise how the numbering system works on the cap,ie where to begin..

I have recently bought a 1979 Dodge Tioga and requirehelp with the distributor.I have found the firing order ok but need to know more about the position sequence of the leads.I think its a 3.6 possibly,Any help gratefully received.................
