John, Like you, I grew up in the Piedmont area, in fact, the town of Piedmont is not far from where I grew up. But, In Liberty, SC, us poor people really did drank a lot of cokes and big orange with the salted peanuts. I still do the big Nehi Orange with the peanuts. Can't remember how the big Orange was spelled but I believe you know the one I am talking about. Now that I am grown up and got rich, I buy the large plastic bottles of orang Drank and the large containers of salted peanuts. I have a crock pot going in the kitchen now, with a batch of boiled salted peanuts. They don't last long around here.

OH Yes, Coke was, and still is, to us born southerners, Generic for soft drink. Now, a lot uv these transplants do not know this and what they get is what they get.:S:B

I really appreciate all the feed back offered here. I called again and still get the run around. They say that there are several units in this area who are running up excessive roaming on their computers and it is no longer profitable for them to keep us as customers. This is hogwash because I have had their service for two years and cell phone for 10+ years. I wouldn't really care but it seems as they are alluding to wrong doing on my part and that Tees me off. We are supposed to have unlimited roaming without charges. I have a feeling that they are regretting these contracts and as ours, being almost up, they are dumping us. OH Well, what goes around comes around, I hope

You mean like the Honda with the flatulent can on the tailpipe, that was already moving, and clear across the cross walk, nearly into the traffic lane, before the light turned green, then made his left turn and sped away like maybe one of the casinos down the road had a limited time free beer offer going on?
I used to allow them to upset me.
Now, I just laugh at them, as long as they miss me.
If They hit me, THEN I will go back to being upset!
What IS it with Honda drivers, anyway? Anytime I hear a flatulent exhaust tone, and see a car weaving through traffic, it seems like it is a Honda!
Well, OK, maybe only 8 out of 10 times...
Hey, I got used to the flatulent sounds. You know... when the cooks served pintos for lunch and later, we were in those bunks side by side and three high. :B SM1 Retired.

Muddypaws1, How do you like ATT? I have ATT as ISP on my desk top at home but have trouble with tech support. I have contacted them a several times about an ongoing problem but have yet to get an answer.

I would definately not consider Altell. We have had Alltell for many years and have had their air card for 1 1/2 years. Without warning and while using the internet, they cancelled my service. I called the next day and they said they were sorry but due to an abnormal number of Altell users in my area having too much roaming time they were no longer offering wireless service in this area. I have never incured roaming charges on our account because we have un limited air time minutes any where we are. I don't know what the real reason is but they gave me tha lamest excuse I have ever heard of.

Alltell internet service
Has anyone had their phone service and wireless internet canceled by Alltell for no apparant reason? I was using my lap top and all of a sudden, I had no internet. I tried several things to restore service but with no success. I called next day and was informed that several Alltell accounts in my area were having too many roving charges and it was no longer profitable for them to keep me as a customer. I tried to explain that I have never incured roaming charges since I have had Alltel which is about ten years. They would not listen to me and are discontinuing my cell phone and internet service as of March 11 when our contract runs out. Our plan says we have unlimited time on both computer and cell phone. They gave me a number to call, "alltel lets talk," where they will give me assistance in setting up another account with another company. I told them no thanks, I did not have any help finding Alltell when I was looking for a carrier and I will not ned help finding another. Hey, I aint making this up, it happened.

To match the 13 buttons. but if you have to take time to un button those thirteen buttons, take them off, button them back up,flail them over your head to fill them with air as one was taught in Boot Camp and survival training, one would be so winded that it would be difficult to climb on them to float. In training, I was never quite successful. If it had been real, bet I would have had better luck:B:h

RE: My use of a tow dolly
Bought one, used it one trip, sold the dadablame thing for $50.00 LOSS. Provided camp ground at Edisto Beach, SC with some unexpected, really hilarious, entertainment when un-hooking, Forgot to set brake on toad, pulled the pin which lets the dolly tilt back, DW and I running like H%$(^^% trying to catch Toad as it coasted down hill towards fellow campers sitting outside laughing their donkey's off.Later,they tried to say they were not laughing as much as the other campers but I know they were fibbing.

A road "alligator" is the seperated tread from a blown tire or the thrown tread of a poorly recapped tire. Not an actual critter.

The mice in our motor home do not like Skippy peanut butter on their traps. I wonder if the little suckers would like some grape jelly with it and maybe a glass of cold milk. They got into three of the storage drawers in the bedroom and made a mess. I think they have a Catering service bringing nuts and stuff by.:B
