RE: Cloud Nine RV Park
we stayed there last summer with my son and grandkids. No pool, but they really enjoyed the club house with pool table. It is also just a short drive into town. My dh had absolutely no trouble driving into the campground.

We were in one at the Little Rock rv show. My dh is 6'2" and had no trouble standing up in the LR area. It really looked cool with the fireplace and tv and couches on each side. The only thing is, we like to back in at the lake and look out our large window. You couldn't do that with your bedroom there. Hopes this helps.

ncrebel8, would there be room to add an island? After going to the LR rv show here in AR, we noticed that the kitchen with island had much better flow and room in them than those with the wrap around counter as in the 3185. Before going to the show, we also thought kitchen as in the 3185 were the best looking "on paper" but now have change our mind. Just our opinion, hope it helps. Lynn

I have been to the CenturyTel in Shreveport, but never camping. I did a quick search on RV Park Reviews and found Tall Pines. It has several good ratings. I went to their website and it had some good pictures as well as local attractions in Shreveport. I have heard the Boardwalk is very neat! Hope this helps. Lynn

We have never stayed at Wilderness but have driven through. The sites seemed awfully tight. Stayed at Compton's a few years ago. Site was ok, pool was nice with a big Hippo that the kids loved to try to climb up on and slide into the water. Pool was always crowded when we were there. And a little expensive though. It does have shuttles to SDC if you need or want that. I guess the campground we like the best is Branson Ozark Country Campground. It has a huge pool and grassy area for kids to play (frisby etc.), a pool table in the library room but that is about all for kids. The times we have been there, it has been a very quiet park and we had the pool almost to ourselves.And the price is right for full hookups, cable and wifi.You can visit their website to see a few pics. We floated the Pigeon River with our son. That was fun! It was one of the slower family floats because ds was young at the time. They have all levels though, if you are interested. Lynn

RE: Thanksgiving in Branson
We are hopefully headed to Branson for Thanksgiving but I haven't made any reservations yet. We have been staying at Branson Ozark Country Campground and like it. Hope we can get in at the last minute but if not I'm sure we will find some place! Can't wait to see the lights and SDC at Christmas. Hope ya'll have a great time.

Also, don't forget to do the drive through Christmas lights. The city of Branson usually has one as does The Shepherd of the Hills. Sooo pretty!Just Google Christmas lights in Branson and I'm sure you will find it. We went a couple of years ago in Nov. and it was great.
