RE: What's the Best Allergy Medicine for Dogs...

We did the allergy testing with Leon Redbone. From there he went on the allergin injections. They knocked the misery back a ton but not totally so I did dose him with pred from time to time when the scratching got out of control again.
But I wonder about the scratching the rear end too. Its such an unusual spot.

RE: winter in a Motor Home

If you are parked and not moving for a while adding Reflectix to the underneath of the slide out does a ton to keep things warmer. Lining the under bed compartment for D pushers keeps the bed warmer. Lining the closets on outside walls keeps them from sweating. Lining the utility cabinet and holding tank compartments raises the effectiveness of the heat provided whether by lamp or duct. Sliding it down behind the couch provides another bit of protection for the cold penetrating the wall and thus the couch.
These days I use it to insulate my show bird coops.

RE: Travels with Big Dogs

What I do in my mini minivan (and everything else I've driven) is to get a box or storage tub or a cooler that will fit the space between front and back seats and be about level with the back seat. Then I throw a sleeping bag or quilt over the mess to level it out. That way I get storage for a few items (could be a tool box/emergency kit/first aid kit, or whatever else you want in there...) and a sleeping bag in case of cold weather emergencies, and they get a nice big deck to lay on.
That is the same thing I've done with my GMC extended cab. Usually milk crates are tall enough to match seat height. Of course you have to do that fitting for the tallest person riding in the truck. Not sure you'd have the head room but I then put a dog bed over the milk crates and the back seat.

RE: Best Route Through Atlanta

My brother lives just outside Atlanta. His recommendation is early, early morning prior to the rush hour......4am the best or between 10am and 3pm.
Having lived in GA and driving in that area I would strongly recommend the very early morning idea. I can't tell you how many times I sat in traffic in the middle of the day for no other reason than someone screwed up.

RE: RESOLVED!!! Bad dealing with AdventureRV.net

Good grief, you all are acting like a bunch of old men. Looking for fault and being suspicious all over the place. In case you've never noticed even the best run, most dependable companies have a screw up from time to time. The thing that makes them a company to return to is their response to a problem created on their end. If true, that the employee was new, then the initial response is not that unusual. Guess some of you have never worked in retail.
Monitoring boards? How many of you work full time jobs and yet check this forum every single day? Which happens to be the best known, most widely read for general RV information on the net?
Sure, this poster might be a troll. Might even be a troll for the company in question but the responses over all are a little disappointing for a group I have great respect for.

RE: Neighbor problems

I wonder if the hubs would shoot me if I told you to bring it down to S. TN and store it here.
