RE: Lifting 55lb Class 'A' Cover

Thanks for the tips. I just bought a cum-a-long at Harbor Freight.
I can attach it to the cargo carrier on the roof and winch the bundle up the side of the RV until it reaches the roof. As long as it's soft material, I don't have to worry about scratching.

RE: Slideroom Stuck

When I had the same problem, I called the manufacturer and was told to check the fuse box. Sure enough, a 15 amp fuse was blown. I replaced it and the slide workes fine

Lifting 55lb Class 'A' Cover

Rolling up and folding a 55 pound RV cover while it's on the roof of the RV is relatively easy. All I need to do is tie it up and toss it off of the roof onto the ground.
How do you guys get it back onto the roof to unroll it? I've tried getting it up there with two ladders, side by side, (one a step ladder to rest it on,) but it's a struggle lifting that bulky weight to roof level and then hoisting it up over the edge. Once it's up there it's easy to unfold. Any suggestions?
