RE: Leveling a refrigerator

I have a digital level. Refer states it should be within +/- 3 degrees side to side; within +/- 6 degrees front to back.

RE: Phoenix to Zion NP

Kanab - sure hope you are stopping at Best Friends no-kill animal sanctuary. Amazing place, huge, fascinating story on how they got started. An absolute must see. Oh - yes, I'm a life long dog/cat person. Horses too for that matter.

Campground - AL/GA

May be the wrong forum but:
Will be going from SC to Tupelo, MS through (around) Atlanta. My half way point is about the border between GA and AL - roughly 240 miles.
Was looking for a good CG somewhere around that border or either side. Have come up way short of anything that appears I would want to spend the night at. May have to just opt for ol' Wally.
Any suggestions?

RE: Helo Reunion in Cleveland-Where to stay?

You won't find a lot of decent CG's in the immediate area. One - SW side between Hudson and Streetsboro is a KOA (actually in Streetsboro). Easy access to I480, I271, turnpike. We spent 6 weeks there last year.
Best part - Cuyahoga Nat'l park. Great bike path - old Ohio/Erie canal tow path. Total about 30+/- miles. In Peninsula - can even take the train for $2 to various stops WITH your bike. And have to stop at Szlays - 7 or 8 miles south of Peninsula for corn, veggies, etc. Great place. Miss it after spending 40+ years in the area.

RE: Backing in (Question about following signals)

Barney - Lazy Days - has an easy technique to follow while backing up. It begins with positioning the coach BEFORE backing begins.
We use headsets ($80) that allow TWO way communication versus the push button one way. Makes life simple.

RE: Class A resort being opened to Super C's?

Nor would I have any problem with the change (currently have an A). The newer versions of C's are quite astounding.
The "resort" is a tough name for Cane Creek. On the small side and in the middle of nowhere. Great lake, nice views, well done. Smallish.
Know the area well since we live about 7 miles down the lake from there.

Sanicon

Have used the Sanicon for 2+ years - love it. Always do the obvious - black tank, back flush grey to black, black again, grey.
Don't appear to have a grey bypass.
Does anyone just leave the grey open allowing the Sanicon to drain? And will it?

Asheville, NC rt 40

Noticed Google avoided the stretch of I40 that had the landslide. New suggested route was down I26 onto US 25 and US 70 to get back to I40.
I seem to recall taking that route on the Wing but not certain a good coach route. Anyone?
Or best to just bite the bulle and take I26 all the way to I81 back to Knoxville? Adds about 50+ miles but sure looks easier.

For those with the Hydralift in the SC/NC/GA area, any recommendations on dealers you have used to install? I see the ones available - just looking for real life experience.

RE: Todds RV - Henderson, NC

You're right - Hendersonville.
And nothing is close to Cross Hill - grocery stores, Lowes, etc.
But it is only 110 - 120 miles. Nice cycle ride generally.

Thanks - I noticed "Dish" in each instance. I have Direct at home (4 boxes) - anyone doing this with Direct?

Can I assume those with a satellite and two people wanting to watch different shows have two separate boxes?

Todds RV - Henderson, NC

Have been looking at Tiffin's Allegro and noticed Todds RV "allegedly" sells them as well though no inventory at the moment.
Anybody have good/bad dealings with them on a tag axle size? Close to where I live is reason.

Anybody familiar with this show? Scheduled for 2/19 - 21. It appears to be predominately 5th rigs and travel trailers and NOT big class A's

RE: freezer question?

It is not frost free. That said, frost does lessen from the fins. All is based on total condensation in the air and frequency of getting in/out.
It is also possible the thermistor - the little gadget connected to one of the fins on the upper right - going bad. I had a ton of frost and eventually replaced the thermistor.

RE: Removal of Splendide Washer

I just talked with a guy that replaced his dead two year old Splendide washer (he has the stackable) with a Maytag from Home Depot. Cost was $200 less but he did pay to have the old removed and new installed, all by HD. Great deal.
