RE: My Experiences With the ASPBT

A few years ago my attitude towards these dogs changed when I met the biggest Red Nosed Pit I had ever seen. His name is Grizz and I met him in Yuma during the Winter. He has some eyes that would scare just about anyone when you first come upon him, but those eyes are filled with love. He has got to be one of the sweetest dogs I've met. One day he came over to the rv behind him and walked into the little fenced area that these 5 lb chihauhaus would hide their treats, Grizz loves treats, as he was busy sniffing around when the one called Taco came charging out of the trailer and confronted Grizz and bit him on the nose. I figured Taco was fixing to be a snack, but instead Grizz shook his head and walked back to his RV. I was walking with my dogs and Grizz and Karl along the Canal road when out of no where a Border Collie came running towards us, this was the first time I saw the hair go up on the back of Grizz's neck, Karl just told him softly "no trouble" and the hair went down and Grizz sat down watching this dog running towards us. The dogs owner whistled and it went back to him. So it's not the breed that's dangerous it's the fools who own them. I watched him play with a lab pup last year and that pup was really rough but old Grizz never got rough. I'm going to miss him this year as his owner, Karl is undergoing Cancer Treatment. Perhaps I'll never see Grizz again, but he sure changed my opinion about the Pits, he's just a big old Teddy Bear.

RE: Where to Park in Vegas?

The Main Street Casino RV park is less then 20 bucks, so that fits your budget. You can take one of the buses to the strip, way too much to see in one day. Be sure to catch the laser light show at night (free) at the down town area that has been covered so that you can be outside and walk from Casino to Casino with out getting wet, if it ever rains. This is right close to the Main Street RV park.

RE: fiesta grande rv park

If I didn't have the carpet half way torn out of the MH, I'd be heading there now. We have a nice RV park there we are members of.

Don't forget the Flub-a-dub and Dilly Dally. My first crush was Princess Summer Fall Winter Spring, did I get it right?? Also, don't forget Mr. Buster. Richard, how's the clan doing, are they getting settled in. Has the barking calmed down? I found that one from the TV, Bark Off, at Pet Smart for 9.99, no shipping. It works on my girl Shih Tzu, but like everything else it's useless on my boy Shih Tzu. I have a friend with a Min Pin next door that sets his Bassets a barking and it worked on all three of them. It's a little kinder then the collar. You might also find it at Walgreens or Walmart.

I don't recall that one, but I do recall the one that was indented so that you could break it into three peices, wonder why they quit doing that.

And now I see why they call this "The Old Fella Story" Sorry, but you all had to know this was coming. hehehehahaha First TV I saw was at the Grand Parents and the first show was The Lone Ranger. Here's a question for you. What was unique about the 5 cent Three Musketeer candy bar and isn't any more?
