I almost changed, but I kept Dish because I like two receivers for 4 TV's. Actually in our house the two receivers runs 5 TV's and then we have another receiver in the motorhome.

Katie's favorite thing in the yard is hiding and laying on the plants. She's eight months old now and the plants are finally growing back and the yard looks great. Yesterday we commented on how great Katie's doing. I guess we spoke too soon because today she pulled and chewed up the sprinkler system. Our other dog as a puppy did exactly the same thing and finally outgrew it within a year.

I would say a harness. I wish I had a harness on Charlie when he took off running. He forgot he was tied up and the end results were he took a flip in the air and had to be rushed to the vets. He did some damage to his growing plates and was on Rimadyl for a few days for the pain and inflammation. He's doing fine, but maybe leg surgery in the future.

As for your Verizon BB comment, they (Verizon) now offer pay as you go wireless BB service..
You can buy in day, week or month chucks...

We have had it since mid-December and it works great... Just a simple phone call or website visit to add credits to the account....

Anyone buying an iPad
I'm seriously thinking about buying an ipad because what I heard you can turn the service on or off when needed. Right now I'm paying Verizon wireless and Cox high speed internet. I only use Verizon wireless 3 months out of the year.

Congratulations on your new puppy. How about a picture of both dogs.
When we got Katie, Charlie put her in her place a few times. I was really nervous about it. It all worked out and now they are inseparable. Our breeder knowing Charlie was an alpha dog made sure we got a puppy that would work well with him even if we had to wait a year for the next litter. I don't know how breeders figure it out because she was right on with Katie's personality. It all worked out and Charlie in love with her. He takes so much******from her. LOL

Dog fights are horrible. Charlie and my son's Golden got into a fight last week. I pulled them apart and pour water on the two of them from a water bowl. The water is actually what stopped the fight. During the fight a tooth snagged the back of my hand. What started it I was putting the shock collar on Charlie and Sierra walked up and this made Charlie mad. Sierra is a great dog, but will never back down from a fight and the same with Charlie. It seems like Charlie is always trying to prove he's number one with dogs. Both dogs are fantastic with kids and strangers.

I have two Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers and the shedding of a Golden Retriever is like night and day compared to my two dogs. I took care of their dog for 5 days while they went to Mammoth. OMG the fur balls are all over the house, fur on the coffee tables, fur every where. Their dog gets groomed short and they also use a fumigator. I believe you have to live with it.

The question that comes up now is what happens when the commercial power fails? The security/dial-out setup would have to have a battery backup. Perhaps you should look at a generator autostart setup as an alternative. The Onan Energy Command units are very interesting. They are designed to start the generator when the HVAC system calls for power and can be optioned to work only if commercial ac power is not present.
Were thinking about getting the Onan Energy Command. We spend a lot of time in Palm Springs and it's been a big worry leaving the dogs inside the motorhome. A few years ago an rv'er lost their dog and a parrot because of the air conditioning shutting off because of a small power outage.

I am trying to understand. What does this radio do for you that you can't do with your iPhone? I have a $20 bluetooth stereo adapter connected to my stereo and stream internet radio via iHeart Radio (free), Pandora (free) and PBS stations (free).
Pandora is terrific. Ry Cooder is one of my favorite stations.
I get all my stations from Radio Time I believe there's 100,000 plus stations. Its kind of nice because I get local stations that I normally can't pickup with the radio like Los Angeles and San Diego.
