It can be tough finding anything open. Probably a few gas stations and connected markets. Make sure you do not push you fuel supply and fill up every half of a tank or start looking at half until you find one open.

I haven't traveled on I-95 but lots of other routes and no problems unless you count loneliness. You'll probably have the highway all to yourself.

We wanted to eat at a restaurant along our travel route, but found almost nothing open. Then I saw a hospital and said "That's it, they don't close." So it was off to the cafeteria we go and had a very good meal at a very affordable price. Huge parking lot and security, too, so no problem with the rig, either.

Now that is a creative idea.

FlyingJ Truckstops There are flyj truckstop in every state that are 24/7/365 and they have RV parking just to the side of the gas pumps at no charge. No hookup and good working generator will work, and the food and store ain't half bad. The above link will show gas and diesel prices up to date by 10am with locations by state with directions. RV'ers are very welcome there. 25 years over the road, my recommendation. Almost forgot free RV dump too.

Don't forget in the event of a breakdown on Christmas Day, you'll be sitting somewhere for a good long while I'd imagine. I carry a 2nd spare, extra fuel, a portable CB radio, and never travel before or after dark when it's necessary for us to travel on Christmas or Thanksgiving day.

Happy camping!!! See ya'll down the road!!!

We make it a point to travel on Christmas day for the last 8 years because there is no traffic also travel on New Years day for the same reason. Never had a problem getting gas or a place to eat etc.

I always start my Christmas vacation about 11:00 am on Christmas day. Gas is easy to find, but there are few open restaurants on I-75.
