Jim, So which weekend will it be?? 1/29-1/31, or 2/12-2/14?? Gotta reserve the time for my vacation days.

Jeff, you know the dez better than anybody I've known. What are other options (sites) we could head for without risking running out of gas? We have had some younger riders on 2 stroke 125's that are mileage challenged. I only ask because the Nat'l Weather Service claims this will be a wetter and colder (read.... SNOW), winter than usual, which as we found out 2 years ago. WE found out that only a foot of snow stopped us in our tracks.

East northeast of DS is Robbers Roost (the big rock outcropping, it's obvious). It was a stage robber hideout and lookout long ago... and while on your ride to the Roost, keep going and visit Inyo Brewing Co on the NW side of the 14... right after it splits to divided hwy, after the turn off to Inyokern/Ridgecrest. Follow the Aqueducts. Map in on gmaps.

There's also an old rock cabin in Red Rock, east of the old Dutch Cleanser mine. Follow the ridge line.

Dont forget if you ride in Rand Mountains (Randsberg area), you need permits.

Very cool, thank you....

The brewery is past Robbers Roost by a few miles. It is past the east bound 178 on the 14.
