I am looking for some tires for my Ford 3/4 ton 4x4 pickup.
Today I saw some Mastercraft tires...nice tread design and (E)rated.
The guy said he's has been selling them for several years and they have been real good tires..He said they are made in America..

Have any of you had a set of Mastercrafts on your truck?

Any comments will be appreciated..

Thanks,

HARRY

I had some on a truck back in the 1990's no complaints. I think they are or at least were made by Cooper Tires.

Found out from my tire dealer it's the only E rated 15"tire for trailers. they are made in US, made by cooper tire. Other than that could not find any info. Maybe try their site.

I have never owned a set, but the local gas companies buy hundreds of sets of them. They must be good, or just good sales people, because you see them everywhere. Are they cheap priced ?

I used to sell the Mastercraft tires and even had a few sets on my vehicles. They are cheaper $$ but I never had any problems with them failing. If the treadwear rating is 60,000, you can expect to get 40,000-45,000.

I had a set on my F250 and was very disappointed int the tread life, half of what it was supposed to be. I'll never buy another set.

I have had them on my truck for 3 years. I love them and will replace them with another set. Have 35,000 miles on them now and not even close to the tread wear indicators. I say buy them save the money and enjoy your next camping trip.
