...on the David Letterman show.
He and his brother went on vacation this past Summer in his 20 year old VW camper.
They stayed at KOA campgrounds. He spoke highly of KOA's, some very good press.
He told an amusing story of running out of gas on the Bonneville salt flats.
Anyone on here run into him?

no - but that would have been a gas wouldn't it?

and who would have believed you if you did? UNLESS you could post pixs to prove it??

KOA should consider "hiring him" to be a "roving" Goodwill ambassador and spokesperson -- his "salary" being FREE STAYS at all KOAs ... and of course "publicity photo-opts" for each "participting park"!!

Dolly Parton and her husband used to RV in an older Class C. I never saw them myself but I saw her on some talk show telling some of their adventures. She said most people didn't even recognize her...:-)

Without the wigs, makeup, and fancy clothes she probably looks different. I would imagine it is easier for a woman to go incognito than it is for a man.

DW and I went to see Precious the other day. I knew Mariah was in the movie because I had heard it on Oprah but I still didn't recognize her. No makeup, no hair stylist, no fancy clothes do make a huge difference at least for me. Although, truth is, I actually thought she was a very pretty woman "au natural" just not "Mariah" if ya know what I mean!

Both retired. Travel with Nicky the Schnoodle. Son graduated and is teaching high school math. We notice he still prefers to use our checkbook! We still love our 2006 34' Allegro Bay XB and have 25,000+ miles on her.
