Hello!
Was wondering if anyone out there has installed a half bath and/or w/d hookups in their garage? (with additional black or black AND grey tanks?)
We love the living space in the Sandstorm f40(or42)qssp, but there are no hookups or bath in the garage... We love the garage in the Cyclone 3950 and 3850, but living space is small...
DH has done lots of remodels, but we can't find a sandstorm close look at to see how feasible it would be...
anyone done this?
Thanks so much!

I have the Heartland Road Warrior 395. It is close to the 3850 floor plan.It is roomier than it looks. The rear bath is a life saver when it's muddy riding. Also when your there use the toy lock then you have the garage for more living space.

Tons of places can handle that kind of a mod. There is a place here in So Cal that can more then likely do it. K & N Customs in Perris, Ca.

Hi,
If you are looking to add a bath, here is a great place to look at tanks.
Tank-Depot.com
Yes anything is possible. Just remember if you add something it will take away from the capacity to store more bikes and quads, and does not fold up into the sidewalls like the beds do. So the trailer would not be able to store a dune buggy or car anymore?
I like the thought of a second 1/2 bath, for those muddy days. I would think that you could let the sink water flow into the same black water tank, to save a lot on plumping. Even the washing machine could drain into that tank - if desired. The only advantage for dual black and gray tanks is if you camp places that allow feeding the gray water to the local plants.
Good Luck,
Fred.

I am building a touhauler myself, and although I have decided not to install a shower I found a couple of sites that did and gave some great info. They are posted below.
This is a site that does RV refurbishes,........ons, click on the race car trailer link.
This one is over the top but good info. Don't let it intimidate you though.

Thank you for the info!
We have decided to go with the Sandstorm (or one of the styles very similar), and have or do a modification. Now, if we could just find the Sandstorm on a lot!
We don't mind the bath and w/d taking up floor space; we don't want to use the garage for toys (we have to take a trailer when we haul them anyway), we want the garage for sleeping 6 boys.
Thanks again for your help!
