Interesting how after all those years of nearly everybody else going to aluminum while Lance was still telling us how their wood framing was allegedly superior they are getting with the times and admitting they were wrong. That aside, its nice seeing some new blood in the mix.

I have always felt that Lance concentrates on great floor plans and am glad to see that they are offering new models. The deals of the last year or two are likely going to end soon as RV manufacturers are starting to rehire laid off employees, demand is increasing, and production is beginning to rebound.

Gosh in hard side campers I can only think of Arctic Fox going to ALL Aluminum frames in all models before Lance. Of course I’m only thinking of companies still in business.

There’s Host and Eagle Cap off the top of my head but that’s not the point … when others started building with aluminum Lance continued touting the alleged superiority of there wood framed units for several years until they changed their minds in recent history and started building their larger units with aluminum. Now all their units will be aluminum so did wood change recently or what lol!

They also said aluminum roofs were more superior and I agree with that but I,m sure they cost much more than rubber.

I love to see RV companies wake up and decide to shake things up. Lance started to do this a couple of years ago when their upper management and engineers started to go to the major European RV shows, and gleaned some terrific new ideas for their Lance Campers. Especially the bathrooms, interior designs and new windows. Now they have a full line of Lance travel trailers that appear to be very nice also.
My grandpa had a M & M truck camper that he bought from the factory in North Hollywood in the 1960's...before they were called Lance. Now in Lancaster, California...next year Lance will celebrate their 50th anniversary! And they have a strong 50% market share on Truck Campers.
Congratulations to CEO Jack Cole (He hangs around here on RV.Net) for seeing to it that Lance will be around for another 50 years leading the competition!
This is our 7th new Jayco in 30 years! Loved 'em all!
