Rat bastards did it again, almost 2 years on the dot.

Yes, I have it at a RV storage. Although, it is now getting moved to a more secure storage area with no history of break-ins. Hopefully it will help.

So. Any great ideas out there to keep the scum of the earth from getting in the rig? Both times they went through the side entry door. Their crow bar made quick work of it.

Luckily, this time I only lost a flash light and a door.

Keep it parked in your driveway.

Sorry for your loss. We wouldn't live in a place with deed or development restrictions that prevent us from having our RV on site. Life is a series of choices, and that's ours.

Good luck with the new storage facility.

Alarm?

Can you install a bar across the inside and exit from the rear?

Sorry to hear about that, I hate thieves!!

In reality if someone wants to break in to a Toy Hauler (or any RV) it would be impossible to stop them. You could reinforce the entry door locks but the door itself is not strong. Besides as you know it is nothing to pop open an RV window to get inside.

Best bet it to find a safer place to store it and make sure the insurance is current.

Good luck,

David

Suspecting that you and I, along with most others are in the same boat... I got nothin'!

Keep your insurance premiums up to date.

I know it is wishful thinking to be able to keep them out. I guess the most important thing is to not store anything of value in it if they do get in. I used to store my quad in the RV before the first break in, now nothing.

All they got was a flash light.

One method I've seen is to park along side a trusted friend and park your two RVs door side against door side with about 6" clearance between the two. May not stop them from getting in but they won't be using the door.

Sorry for the stress you are going through, been there as our TT was broken into. We added an alarm, posted stickers on doors and windows, and covered the TT. The cover hides from view and adds another level of protection. As noted keep insurance coverage up to date.

Hopefully this will be the last time.
