Newbie here. Does anyone here know if this 2008 trailer comes with a water heater bypass already installed as standard equipment? I'm looking at the water heater from inside the trailer and it sure looks like it could have a bypass line. There's a valve on the cold (blue) line at the bottom, a hot (red) line on top with NO valve and then a blue line running vertical between cold and hot lines. On the vertical line halfway down the line is another valve. No valve on the hot (red) line. Trying to get ready to winterize after one more trip. Only owned camper for several weeks.
Hoping somebody else has same setup. Thanks!

all RV's with a water heater have a WH bypass valve, as far as i know.
are you asking about a winterizing kit with a intake valve for the anti-freeze?

We have a 23B as well. It does have the WH bypass as you guessed. Open the valve in the vertical line between the hot and cold lines. Close the valve on the cold water inlet. To drain the heater you remove the anode (from the outside compartment) and open the relief valve to speed things up. I can usually get two seasons on the anode before it needs replacing. Don't forget to close the relief valve. I blow out my water lines with air hooked to the city water inlet and only use the pink stuff in the drains (kitchen sink, bathroom sink, shower drain and some in the toilet). Don't forget your outside shower when blowing the lines out. There is a drain for the fresh water tank between the tank and the pump. I also make sure there is no water in the filter and disconnect the line from the pump to the filter inlet and run the pump a few seconds to make sure it is also empty. Hope this helps but let me know if you need any more information. Happy camping.

Bikerdan and Penman, thanks for your replies. Bikerdan, I meant bypass line, not just bypass valve, sorry for the confusion. Penman, if you don't mind an occasional email until we get settled in, I'd be very appreciative. My husband and I are brand new to all this and are just trying to avoid expensive mess ups for now.
Thanks again.
