So Pops, why would you post it under RV Pet Stop, if it's not pet related? It's offensive to be confused - is is my dog's Vet - or - Military Veteran. Don't clump them with animals. Post it in General RV if you don't know where to post it.....

There are people who are veterans that post on this part of the forum, they also happen to be RVing pet owners. I would like to extend my thanks to our men & women who have served, as well as their families who must make sacrifices while their loved one is gone.

Thanks for serving veterans and active military! I appreciate everything you have done or will do for our freedom. As far as I am concerned there is no inappropriate place to extend gratitude.

I agree. Not everything has to be in the correct place all the time. Thank you again all Vets in both countries, men, women and animals

Look, when I read this post this morning it hit me the wrong way. And I don't apologize for the way I feel or what I said. Thank you. If it was posted in Gen RV this conversation wouldn't be
taking place. Enough said. HAPPY VETERANS DAY!!!!!!!

Come on, give me a break .... It's only a Pet forum. We all honer our Vets. I'm sure our servicemen wouldn't be offended if it was post on RV pet Stop. It wasn't posted for pets it was posted for the people on this pet forum.

If you admit "it hit me the wrong way" but still want to make a point of saying "I don't apologize for the way I feel or what I said." Sorry I don't get it.

What difference does it make which part of the forum a post thanking our veterans is posted? Why do you believe it is your responsibility to tell one of our regular posters on this forum he is wrong for posting his thoughts here?

And no, there is not "Enough said" I do have something else to say, you are a very confusing person Mrs. Ray. I certainly hope you are not as hard hearted and negative as your posts on this thread sound. Perhaps you are just having a bad day? I find myself hoping that for your sake, it would be awful to have such negative feelings all the time.

Please allow me to thank your husband for his service..... that is, if it's OK with you.

------------------------

I come from a LONG line of veterans, my father & brother are included among them as well as several uncles, an aunt, cousins, nephews, nieces, great uncles, my great grandfather and so on...... Currently I have three cousins and a nephew serving our country. Two of them are in Afghanistan as I speak.

If any of you feel like thanking any of the veterans in my family on this thread, in this forum..... feel free to go right ahead!

A whole-hearted thank you to all the veterans of whatever species who are part of this little community.

Thanks for keeping this a safe and free country, where the nut cases are free to rant!

Hey Donna,

In the interest of keeping posters straight, why don't you set up your own log-in? If your screen name was, say, Mrs Crazy Ray, then no one would confuse you with your husband.

Happy Veterans day to Crazy Ray, and to all veterans!

Another case of forum members popping in from the "newest" or "active" links at the top left of the page and being clueless. I appreciated your post, Lance, and we have our flag flying high at this house. I hope all you veterans feel our very deep appreciation, especially this past week with all the shock and grief of Ft Hood. Without you, and all who currently serve, there is little chance that the way of life we take for granted can continue.
